No picture on pause

I haven't had a chance to verify this deeper, but at least with AVI/Divx:
When I pause, there's black screen, not the image of the movie.

Could be my setup, anybody else experiencing this?

It happens with recordings, avi and DVD playback, screen goes black when pause, or when OSD is activated. I am using overlay and 99.5

yeah i just notice it to!

in all media types when i pause the screen goes black! i am using 0.99.5,i think it started with the upgrade. Anyone else having this?

Yep, same here on all media types on pausing (OSD is fine, VMR9 custom), only after installing 0.99.5

I had this in 98.13 too, I'm using VMR 9 Custom rendering, symptoms are the same. IT didn't really bother me so didn't report it earlier...

I think it doesn't happen in VMR9 (not -custom).

I'm here searching for a solution to the same problem. I never had it before. I just updated to the newest version and now the screen goes black when paused.

I tried using VMR9 instead of VMR9 Custom and it works fine. Thanks GoodGuys.

Its on my list of things to look at for the next release.
