having problems getting gb-pvr totune up video card

Have you tried a forum search? There are a number of posts about this card which seems to be a digital/analogue hybrid. Apparently the analogue side isn't supported natively by GB-PVR - could that be the problem?

Set the recording source type as a BDA Recording plugin then use Settings and select the device type from the drop down list.

I can't help much further as it then depends on where you are in the world and what EPG type you're going to use.
