Lockout on Video Playback

So... I am bringing this project back from the dead. I spent some quality time with my PVR this weekend and got very far only to hit a road block. I took some of the kids DVDs (which is 1/2 the reason this got started) and ripped them using DVDFABDecryptor to the hard disk. I can play them back but I loose all control of the GBPVR window. The video runs but I can not stop it or exit out, not with the remote or keyboard or mouse. I am so close! I am determined to get this going so my wife will stop calling this the project you havn't finished. Save me.

Any ideas where to go?

Is something else grabbing focus when you start a DVD?
If you hit Alt+Tab does it show something else having the focus?

If you're using the Cyberlink decoders and VMR, then you may need to add the Cyberlink EnableVMR9=1 registry setting (google for details).

I will give you feedback on both items tonight. I am using Cyberlink DVD, not sure what version. Is there a better option?

Sub, Thanks! Works like a charm. Now I need to polish it up a bit and we are ready to roll. Need a better CPU Fan, too noisy.

Now that you got *that* part going, you'll soon find out there is more things you'll want to do. The project will never be finished
