advice on adding second card

My system is mostly finished and I now need to purchase a second card. Currently, I have a Hauppauge 350 that I got a very good deal on... free. I have a 16:9 television and I've read many posts about the 150 defaulting to 4:3 aspect when recording. I'd rather not have to change the aspect ratio when playing back recording.... or have the annoying black columns on the sides.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The PVR350 is exactly the same as the PVR150 in that respect, as is every analog other capture device I'm aware of - they all mark their recordings as 4:3 regardless of what the aspect ratio really is. With analog tv 99.9% of the time it is 4:3 anyway (except for a few shows in Europe), so this shouldnt really be a big concern.

After adding a PVR150 to a system with a PVR350 you shouldnt really notice any difference other than being able to record two shows at once, or watch tv while recording.

But in saying that, they are probably the best cards for hardware recording around: it's just the software that can let them.
