I have some problems with DVB-T subtitles. I need danish subtitles, but they are not shown at all. I have tried both with LiveTV and recorded TV without succes. It is not possibly for me to select the danish subtitles as primary or secondary language, only english is available. Pressing CTRL + Y results only in "No subtitles available".
What could be the problem?

Thomas - Denmark.

Can you run another test and post the logs again, but this time also let me know the exact time you pressed Ctrl-Y? I cant see exactly where in the logs its trying to do it, so I need this help to narrow things down for me.

Here is the new logs. I pressed CTRL + Y several times from 21.49 to 21.51 on 3 different channels. Still "no subtitles available" is shown.

Thanks in advance....

I cant see the reason yet, but I can see better info in those logs. It is at least detecting the DVB Subtitles, since each time you press Ctrl-Y I see the detected DVB Subtitles stream details in the logs.

Code:
<transponder>
<network_id>12928</network_id>
<transport_stream_id>1003</transport_stream_id>
<original_network_id>8400</original_network_id>
<service>
  <service_name>DR2</service_name>
  <channel_num>2</channel_num>
  <TSID>1003</TSID>
  <service_ID>102</service_ID>
  <service_type>1</service_type>
  <pmt_PID>201</pmt_PID>
  <video_PID>211</video_PID>
  <audio_PID lang="dan" audio_type="0">221</audio_PID>
  <teletext_PID>231</teletext_PID>
  [b]<dvbsub_PID lang="dan" type="16" composition="2" ancillary="2">235</dvbsub_PID>[/b]
</service>
</transponder>

Can you zip and attach your config.xml?

Try setting <PreferredSubtitleLanguage>dan</PreferredSubtitleLanguage> in config.xml and try again.

Hey sub.
The channel DR2 is showing the subtitles. It is DR1 and TV2 the problem is.

On channel DR2 the danish subtitles always is shown, regardless of CTRL-Y or not. It still comes with "no subtitles available".

I mention this, as I can see your "clip" is from DR2.

Would the problem be solved if I could choose danish subtitles instead of english?

The DR2 bit of log above was just an example. The subtitle services are also being found for the other channels. For example:

Code:
<transponder>
<network_id>12928</network_id>
<transport_stream_id>1003</transport_stream_id>
<original_network_id>8400</original_network_id>
<service>
  <service_name>TV 2 (Østjylland)</service_name>
  <channel_num>4</channel_num>
  <TSID>1003</TSID>
  <service_ID>213</service_ID>
  <service_type>1</service_type>
  <pmt_PID>2101</pmt_PID>
  <video_PID>2111</video_PID>
  <audio_PID lang="dan" audio_type="0">2121</audio_PID>
  <audio_PID lang="dan" audio_type="0" AC3="true">2123</audio_PID>
  <teletext_PID>2131</teletext_PID>
  [b]<dvbsub_PID lang="dan" type="16" composition="1" ancillary="1">2135</dvbsub_PID>[/b]
</service>
</transponder>

Did you set the language setting in config.xml as I indicated above? It need to be set to 'dan' or it definitely wont work.

The config.xml is change as you suggested. Now when pressing CTRL-Y I got an error: "Attemted to read or write protected memory. this is often an indication that other memory is corrupt".
Still not possibel to thoose anything else than english as primary or secondary subtitles.

I'm guessing its now trying to display the subtitles for you (previously it wasnt), but something is going wrong. Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
