Hi

I have upgraded my single tuner PVR150 to a dual tuner PVR500 and removed the original PVR150, however GBPVR seems to be only recognising one tuner still and not both - ie it still thinks I have the original PVR150 installed.

I installed the new PVR500 and updated the drivers (v2.7a) that came with it. Then I changed the card type selection in Config so that it reflected the PVR500 Dual Tuner with FM Tuner and restarted the box. Windows XP Device Manager reports that two TV Tuners are present.

From within GBPVR, I selected one program to record which it accepted fine, then I selected another program to record for the same time slot but on a different channel. That's when I got a recording conflict error message.

Is there something else I should have done to reconfigure GBPVR so that it knows there are dual tuners present and that two recordings in the same time slot is OK.

Cheers Mike

You need two capture sources for your PVR500. Set one as device #1, the other as device#2.

From GB-PVR's perspective a PVR500 looks exactly the same as a machine with two PVR150's.

Thanks Sub - especially for the very quick reply.

In setting up the second capture source, do I need to duplicate the channel settings I have for the first capture source also?

Cheers Mike

Thanks Sub, I added the new capture source and loaded an identical channel list, then Reloaded the EPG and it allows both programs in the same time slot to be recorded. Perfect - this just gets better and better.

Thanks...
Mike
