I have managed to get my old PCTV Pinnacle Conexant 878A card working using the ATI decoder. It records with no issue at all but when i pause Live TV it Crashes GBPVR.

It does write the data to the disk before it crashes.

When i hit pause the screen goes green or black and then hangs untill it crashes.

Ideas Please? Thanks

Sorry, I dont know anything about the plugins for these older software encoder cards , so I cant provide any support for them.

GB-PVR only has native support for cards with hardware MPEG2 encoders, like the Hauppauge PVR150, ATI 550 etc.

I dont really know. Assuming you're using the WDM Software Recoder plugin, it might be worth posting in it's thread at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753 in case the author of the plugin (or other user) can provide you some tips.

Supported cards like the PVR150 etc tend to be a lot easier to get going.
