Sub, this should be a quickie.

Is anything necessarily wrong if my config app settings all reverted on this new install?

Also, for some reason, I got a crash at some point during the install...I think it might've been when the installer called the config app, but I can't swear to it. Just letting you know.

Did you see the bit in the instructions about the C++ redistributable??? That normally fixes the install error (normally on psiparser.ax)

That's about the limit of my support then Big Grin

Are you saying all your customised config options went out the the window and you're left with a basic install??

Did you have them backed up, and what happens if you drop them back into your gbpvr directory?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'm not bothered by the fact that I had to reset everything. I just want to know if it's indicative of a larger problem. I had them backed up but I just went ahead and reset just in case.

No - dont do that. You can only put a config.xml file back onto the version it came from.

Best to just set the settings again.

I swear I had this problem twice when I was installing from the desktop. When the config came up after the install it would always crash.
