Resume/Restart not working with MCE Remote

Resume/Restart is not responding with keyboard or MCE Remote with AVI files. It will respond to the mouse. Resume/Restart responds with MPEG files. What do I need to do?

I'm guessing this is because you're using the DIVX decoder which starts the little tray icon thingy, and switches the focus to that, meaning keypresses are not passed to GB-PVR.

There was some work arounds listed over at the divx forums, or alternatively you can uninstall that decoder and use a different one.

Thanks sub. Its wierd I didn't have this prob with prev versions of GBPVR. It is only 1.08 that has this prob. Do you have links to the workarounds and/or another decoder?

You must have changed something about the decoders on your machine which has caused this to happen. Its a long standing problem that starting happening well over a year ago when the divx decoder, and affects tons of other apps aswell.

Others have mentioned they found the solution on the divx forums (http://forums.divx.com/forum/). Alternatively uninstall the decoder and install xvid or ffmpeg decoder instead.

I don't remember changing anything immediately prior to this problem showing up other than upgrading GBPVR. I tried an AVI with the old GUI of 1.08. It does not have this problem. I uninstalled Divx so I can use the new GUI.

Its clearly not a PVRX2/GBPVR, but problem with the divx tray icon, and it need to steal the focus from other applications.

It is an old problem. If you do a forum search, you'll find lots of posts on the subject. If it didnt happen in the past for you, then you were just lucky.
