attached logs

1st transcode of fresh recording to Divx is ok. 2nd transcode of different recording causes error. PVRx2 must be restarted for transcode to run

Otherwise, things working fine... Thanks for the great release!

I checked this out after upgrading, and if running 1 transcode (DIVX) from the video library file listing then coming back later and running a 2nd transcode will cause PVRX2 window to fault. Logs attached.

If PVRX2 is closed, restarted and then the 2nd transcode attempted, works.

I am curious if anyone else has seen this problem?

Sub, are there different tests I can perform to provide additional information?

I'm not sure if this was something fixed post 1.0.16, but I've just checked this now and I cant reproduce the problem here. I seem to be able to do several divx transcodes in a row.

I just added all of the patches noted in the survival guide, but the problem persists.

Screenshot with part of the error msg and logs attached

Something is being initialized when the PVRx2 is run. Because exiting, restarting and then transcoding avoids the problem.

I also see the MVP hanging up, if the transcode is initiated from there, which makes sense, if the issue is common to both interfaces.

Possible UI glitch? I seem to remember that for some plugins there were issues with a button, but I can't find that thread right now.

I suspect it is something I've fixed post 1.0.16. What I suggest is waiting until the next release (a week or two), then try it again. If it still has the problem then, post here again and find the problem and fix it for you.

Hi, upgraded to 1.1.5 tonight, tried this; in this order
  1. played Blood Ties_20071102_23000000.mpg for a few seconds
  2. transcoded Blood Ties_20071102_23000000.mpg to DIVX
  3. waitied for it to finish
  4. it did, successfully
  5. played Blood Ties_20071109_23000000.mpg for a few seconds
  6. transcoded Blood Ties_20071109_23000000.mpg to DIVX

PVRX2 faulted, logs attached here

I've also tried a back to back pair of transcodes to XviD, same result with the fault.
