v1.0.16

I've installed all patches and updates listed to date. I am using Schedules Direct to populate the EPG. Everything seems to run smoothly when setting up the capture source, no errors on exit but when I go to watch Live TV it says that there is no capture source installed. Going back into Config the capture source I had set up is gone.

It almost seems that the config app is failing to save on exit, but it doesn't kick up any errors. Had no problems back in v.99x

Thanks,

zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

The usual cause of this is that the user has updated to the current release, then copied their old database over the new one. You shouldnt do this. GB-PVR will automatically retain the users data during an upgrade, so this isnt needed. The database files are only compatible with the release they come from. An old database on the new release will be missing important changes in the database, enough to cause problems like you describe.

I did a complete uninstall and then reinstall when this happened. I backed up the database but left it there (didn't try to copy it over). I'll post some logs when I'm back on the machine.

Thanks!

Well, I uninstalled, manually deleted the gbpvr folder, and reinstalled w/patches.

Everything works fine now.

It must not have been overwritting the database...? Oh well, all is good.
