v1.0.0.3 dll to fix missing rate in older comskip files
Shut down pvrx2, unzip and copy the dll to the plugins/skiptool/ directory
restart pvrx2.

A full install is availble on the wiki if you prefer.

Hi,

I'v been trying version 1.0.3 and it works really good, I am happy you implemented the next & prev. time (red & green button).

What I still find cumbersome is sizing the step. Now you have to navigate to the buttons on the left and then press ok or left/right. What I would prefer is that you could change the stepsize while you are navigating throught the recording. Could you for instance use the channel changer buttons for this?

Then the following scenario is possible. (Stepsize is 300sec). Skip right (>), skip right(>)...oops, to far. Lower stepsize (-), skip left (<).... ok, now a bit to far too the left. lower stepsize (-), skip right (>).... etc.

In general having to navigate to the buttons column forces you to do a lot of key pressing (not that fast on the mvp). You still have two colour buttons left, why not use these for set intime, set outtime?

I typically use my keyboard so it doesn't bug me much, but there is value in making in work as you said. I'll update it and release it as soon as I can.

Ok I'm rethinking the interface.
How about

>> Cycle skip time forward
<< Cycle skip time back

GreenButton Set InTime
RedButton Set OutTime

arrow left navigate forward
arrow right navigate back

Anything else?

I think I'll do record to enter the entry, and stop to delete it.

I won't be able to put all of these shortcuts on the menu visually, but maybe I'll do a help popup going forward with the keys on it.

Great!

What I normally do next after setting the comskip times correct, is to add the recording to a transcodeQ for converting to .avi. So if there could be button on screeen which could fire off a batch file with the recording filename as parameter, that would be superb. Smile

I just started talking with Stattik about using his scripts to do the transcode. Hopefully that will work out and then I'll build in the transcode queue from the main page.
