Problem with Dish remote and HIP

I am trying to set up HIP so I can control my Dish VIP 211 box from GB-PVR. Problem is, I have the MCE receiver and that sets itself up. It's reading the Dish remote into hip. Every time I try, it says hit any key or click. I set the remote in front of the MCE receiver, and click the mouse, and I get a timeout error. It happens as soon as I click or press a key. I don't even have time to hit a key on the remote. If anyone has a config file for a Dish 211, 301 or 311 I would be grateful. I have all 3 boxes here and they are the same codes.

Well, now I am about to give up. I am thinking it's not possible to use the Dish settop box with HIP. I again tried to learn the remote codes from the dish remote, no go. I see now it wants me to press a key on the remote. Nothing happens when I do. MCE had no problem learning through the same IR receiver. I tried PRONTO codes and no go there either. Has anyone gotten this working? If I can't get the settop box controled from GB-PVR, it's of no use to me.

I fanally figured it out. You have to shut down the MCE services to at least program HIP. Something in the services was not allowing me to program the STB remote into HIP. Maybe that should be added to the Wiki? I am going to restart the computer to restart the services and see if it still works.
