I'm using 1.16 with Schedules Direct, and I've noticed some recurring issues with the guide and conflicts.

For the last month, I've had issues when there is a recording conflict. The "red bar" at the top of the guide will be present , and red not orange (although it's hard for me to see the difference in color sometimes), and the real recording square won't be lit up. so there's be a bar (of some color Smile at the top of the guide to show that there is a recording scheduled, but no place in the actual grid will anything be marked.

If I go to recordings/conflicts, it will show a conflict and the first recording information, when I go to resolve it, there isn't a title (any information at all) given for the conflicting program. I have a popup box with "the "cancel my recording changes" or whatever, and no second program to cancel. There isn't even a blank entry I can navigate to (as if the title weren't being displayed properly but the entry was there)- just the cancel/ go back option.

I thought this ws likely just a corrupt SD update but I've waited awhile for it to be fixed, and rebuilt the EPG (I haven't deleted it, but it updates completely daily plus I've done manual reloads from the PVR GUI.

Anyone seeing an issue like this? I've had PVRX2 running for a few months but this showed up a few weeks ago.

I just cleaned up all the conflicts and I've restarted a lot so logs are purged but next time I see them I'll run through the GUI then peek at the log files.

If it's a known thing that's great and I won't mess around too much. Things seem to record fine, I just have a hard time sorting out conflicts.

I suspect it would be fixed by this patch: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=25

This patch will only help for scheduled recordings that have not yet been created. Ones that are already sitting in the 'pending' listing may yet cause similar oddities.

hmm... OK, the descriptions in the thread are a little different but I'll go with the "similar oddities" part.

BTW, are these patches rolled into the downloadable executable already if I grab a new one?).

Thanks!

Yeah, I know. This one underlying problem has caused a few different symptoms people have reported.

No, I never go back and update the installer.
