Really looking forward to using GBPVR. But, having some issues.

Built a new system: Fatal1ty F-190HD motherboard, 2 gig RAM, 2.4Ghz Duo. Bought the HVR-1600 MCE and tried to get it to work, but had same issue as below, so I bought HVR-1600 (non-MCE) to see if that was the issue (no installed MUX?)

When I load up the WinTV program, everything runs fine, displays TV and changes channels with no issue. When I load up GB-PVR config, when I try to ADD a capture card, crashes when I press "Display only installed..." to desktop. (This is in Direct Recording Plugin) If I specify the Hauppauge board (HVR-1600 Analog) then when I hit OKAY is when config completely crashes. I've updated every driver, installed latest DirectX, latest ATI graphics, latest 1600 driver from Hauppauge to no avail.

I have the latest version of GB-PVR (1.1.5) and I'll attach my logs here shortly!

I did try to search the forums & wiki!

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Is the card working for you in the Hauppauge WinTV application?

Sub, you rock. I just put the logs in the original post. Yes, WinTV works.

Looking at the logs, it appears that it can't find the MUX's? I'm not trying to do the digital, just analog (for now). As I said, all I do is hit the 'Select Installed...' button and config crashes immediately.

This is a fresh install, with just windows, the mobo drivers for LAN, south bridge and sound (and ATi graphics). I installed CyberDVD SE for windows just in case that was needed as well. I have latest 2005 C++ Deliverable and DirectX 10 installed. That..and the WinTV software is it.

I'm not really sure. Does the tuning assistant run for you?

Yes, Tuning Assistant works under HVR-1600 (analog) setting for USA. <which is where I am.>

No message. The whole program crashes out and disappears. Let me wipe my Event Viewer and post those logs here in a sec.

Okay, just checked, neither System or Application post any issues in Event Viewer.

Well, I'm continuing to work on it. I thought perhaps there was a PCI snoop issue in BIOS, but changed that and still no change. I have updated to Media Player 11. Just as an aside, when I run the MUX Detector you provide, it doesn't show any. But I have fully updated my system with SP2 and patched it completely.

Below is the config.exe native log...a lot of failures, I'm trying to learn, but the MUX's aren't important if I'm not touching digital right?

As I said, the frequency tuner program DOES show video.
