Problem with phantom recording

I had a reocurring program that I cancelled months ago. It does not show up in the list of reocurring programs any longer. However, despite that, everytinme the EPG updates that program is scheduled. I have via config emptied the database of all programs, rebooted the computer and totally reloaded the EPG but the program keeps getting scheduled.
Any suggestions?
