Hi all,
I couldn't find anything about this in the archive so here goes;
Is there any way that I can specify an order of preference for the capture cards?
For example, I have access to NBC via 3 of my capture sources (OTA ATSC, Analog cable and Digital cable). In the event that nothing is going on at the time how can I dictate which source is chosen to record a scheduled show?
I'm assuming that if 2 things are scheduled for the same time then the recording jobs are issued to the card that services the required TV station?
What I'd like to do is to ensure that a digital source is chosen where possible and better yet that an HD source is chosen where possible.
For example, Many Fox HD outlets are also carrying the MyTV network (My9 here in NYC area) in SD and vice versa on the MyTV outlet. If one cannot receive one RF channel but the other is available then you are covered with both services.
Am I making myself clear? I'm getting a little confused myself.:confused:
Thanks
