Not sure if BGPVR supports 64 bit or not but i tried it. Everything works great except a couple things.

1) The GBPVR frontend does not work at all. Every time i try to watch anything it says I have no guide data (when i clearly do because I use PVRX2 perfectly all the time).

2) I get no sound when playing back recording in PVRX2. I have set up my audio decoder and renderer in the playback tab of the configure program but nothing I pick seems to work. I'm not really sure if this help but I had trouble getting sound during live TV playback for awhile but playing with the audio decoder worked for that.

Thanks

It might be vista file protection getting in the way. Try deleting the "c:\users\<user account>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory then try again. If that doesnt help, then zip and attach the logs and I'll see if its something else.

I'm sure that relates to the audio decoder you're using. If the options you've tried didnt help, then download some other audio decoders and try them.

This directory doesnt exist? Is it possibly hidden or something?

Yes, it does exist. Its a hidden directory.

Another way to get there is - If you press Windows-R to bring up the "Run" window, then type %APPDATA%, then click run, it'll open the appdata directory.

that definitely worked to get gb-pvr working, but I still cant get the recordings to play.

I tried transcoding them to Xvid and i set it to run ASAP but they never seem to transcode. Also, an interesting thing, now that I have GP-PVR.exe working, all the recordings in that interface come up as failed. I can watch the recorded mpegs using VLC but they dont have sound in PVRX2, and they are all failed in GP-PVR.

I was browsing the logs and came across this:

2008-02-23 02:18:58.543 VERBOSE [10] About to start transcode of: Modern Marvels
2008-02-23 02:18:58.543 ERROR [10] Unexpected error in ConversionProcessing.WorkerThread(): System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Length cannot be less than zero.
