installed hvr4000
when i try to scan i get
a box with"GBpvr was unable to start the bda device you have configured .check the device is configured properly ,and not in use"

followed by unhadled exception

i have not loaded the haupauge software (would rather not have to) so cant say if it would work with it

I know you dont want to hear it, but that'd be my next suggestion. I'm guessing GB-PVR will start working as soon as WinTV is run for the first time. Something to do with GB-PVR trying to use the default tuning spaces but they dont exist on some machines. The Hauppauge app seems to deal with this and creates it if required. Thats my theory anyway...
