I don't know if anybody else noticed this (couldn't find another post about it), but when a recording has a filename with a comma in it, it doesn't show in the recording list and it can't be imported.

For example, here in the Netherlands there's a show called "Help, mijn man is klusser" (translated: "Help, my husband is a handyman"). The recording is not shown in "Recordings" and I can't import the recording (but the file is there and in the wright place!).
But when I rename the file to "Help" it can be imported, so I guess it's the comma in the filename that causes the problem.

Can you try to import the recording, then zip and attach the config.exe.log so I can see the error message in the logs?

Hi Sub,

PVRX2 gives me the message: "No recordings were imported. The recordings either already existed, or the video files are no longer in their original locations".

Just to show you they are in the correct directory, I also added an image of the explorer window.

p.s.
I just looked in config.exe-native.logs and saw the program can't find some filters. I that a problem? I use the MPV decoder filter you advise and it seems to work great for me.

Can you also post your recordings-dump.xml file?

Did you rename the file at some point? I'm guessing not, need to check.

Try editing the recordings-dump.xml, and updating the filename to have the correct filename.

Code:
<recording>
    <filename>K:\GBPVR\Recorder\Help\Help_20080327_20302130.mpg</filename>
    <channel>RTL 4</channel>
    <status>READY</status>
    <startTime>2008-03-27 20:30:00</startTime>
    <endTime>2008-03-27 21:30:00</endTime>
    <title>Help</title>
    <subtitle></subtitle>
    <description></description>
    <uid></uid>
  </recording>

Yes, I did rename the file and the folder (to "Help_20080327_20302130.mpg" and "Help") in order to be able to import the recording.

I wanted to see an attempt to rename it when the filename included the comma, and the recordings-dump.xml also contained the comma. I cant think of any reason why a comma wouldnt be ok, so I wanted to see if there was any specific error in your logs relating to using a filename with a comma.

Hi Sub,

I rebooted my computer, renamed folder to "Help, test" and the file to "Help, test_20080327_20302130.mpg".
Then I edited the recording-dump.xml file: deleted the recording "Help" (Recording "Help, mijn man is klusser" also not in recording-dump.xml). Rebooted again.

Started config.exe. Tried to import recording, but got message there were no recordings to import. No error in the logs.
Then I edited recording-dump.xml: added "Help, test_20080327_20302130.mpg" manually.
Then started config.exe and tried to import recording. Now it was imported!
