#1-is there a way to have the screensaver come on when a show is paused?
#2-why can't I rewind live tv (like other pvrs advertise)?
#3-is there a way to make my Prev.ch button on my hauppage remote actually go to the previous channel?

#2) You can if you uncheck "Use Live Preview Mode if possible" in Config -> Misc.

This will cause live tv to be recorded to a temporary buffer... the same as pressing "Pause" right after you change channels.

No there isnt.

Try editting C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\KeyMappings\LiveTVPreviewPlayer.xml to make sure the only Ctrl-W mapping is:

<command name="LIVETV_PREV_CHANNEL" key="^W"/>

There was a bug in the current install which added another ^W mapping.

thanks I'll try that. One more quick thing. My stb remote has a "favourites" button. It cycles only through your favourite channels. Any way to get this function with gbpvr?

When you press the channel+/- buttons (while watching live tv) it'll cycle through the channels that have the 'favourite' ticked on the 'Channels' tab of the config app. You can still type a channel number + 'enter' to go to a non-favourite channel.

Just a quick follow up. I did everything I was told to and everything seems to be going off without a hitch.

This was the only thing I couldn't get going. I think it's to cpu intensive for my pc, the audio is fine but the frames of the video skip while watching live tv, I just switched it back. Thanks for the help though. I really appreciate it.
