I have a Hauppauge DVB-S2 card and as yet have had no success in getting the ITV HD (aka 10510) on Eurobird 1 (11426,H,27500,23 according to KingOfSat).

Has anyone managed to get this one to work?

Even the PowerCinema 5 bundled with the card fails to find this channel, although it (a) gets BBC HD no problem, (b) will recognise and list the channel "10510" in the "Add Channel" single transponder scanning feature - but then fails to abide to the selection (choosing Brit Shorts for a second time).

PVRX2 finds BBC HD ok (and its variants), but won't find ITV HD - indeed it too will only list "Brit Shorts" on the 11426 transponder frequency. I also tried bending it to 11428 to no avail.

Amazingly, after experimenting a bit with the ideas in that thread, I found that all of the following work - with sound! Smile

Interestingly, the one I've identified with "10510" in the channel name is essentially the one presently listed in "KingOfSat" on transponder frequency 11428 (Eurobird1, not Astra).

Thanks guys!

On powercinema with the add channel option I have found channel 10510 but it adds it to the radio channels. Is there anyway of altering its values so that powercinema see it as a tv channel

I gave up on PowerCinema a while back. DVBViewer does all I need. Whilst it similarly places 10510 onto the Radio channels, you can at least use its channel editor to input the correct parameters - which you can get from KingOfSat.

As far as ITV HD goes, though it is all fairly academic, since even now they still don't transmit anything beyond the "test" card and an extremely rare occassional program. Be pleased if you can get BBC HD for now - at least that is actually worth it.

Thx BigAl

Was after the ITV HD for the footy as the standard definition is poor quality. I will have to look at different applications and see if I can get something sorted out for the up coming champions league games.

I just shoved this in my scan.cache file manually then added a channel then mapped this.... works fine!

T:11426,H,27500,23~NID:59~ONID:2~TSID:2315~P:10510~V:3401~VTYPE:H264~A:3402~L:eng(AC3):3400~TXT:2353~PCR:3401~N:>ITV HD

Remove any spaces introduced in the line... I cant record on it but can watch it no problems. The footy is far better on HD, ITV SD is shocking.

You should be able to record - what version of PVRX2 are you on? I am pretty sure that GBPVR was the first app able to view and record ITV HD, thanks to some speedy patches Sub released last summer (and subsequently rolled into the newer releases).
The only problem I have is waiting for ITV to actually show anything worth recording! Their HD output is underwhelming - but I did manage to record all the Star Wars films they showed in HD last autumn...
