Since upgrading I've noticed that I can't skip forward past 12 m 48 s when I playback .ts files. It'll play fine past this point but the max the progress bar will go is 12:48. This is for DVB-T h.264 files in NZ.

Hasso

I can confirm I'm having the same issues as well. I only got a chance to install the new version last night but have found the internal TS reader to definately have a few issues still and have also noticed some video/audio sync problems as well.

Does the PDVD8 TS option in the config file still work if I add it back in again?

I've attached a patch that should resolve this 12:48 seconds thing. Let me know how you get on.

Yes, it still works. I'd recommend trying the above patch though, since there is a lot of advantages to using the built in TS reader if you can (watching in-progress recordings, timeshift live tv etc).

For the most part any audio/video sync issues should have been resolved since the 1.2.13 release. Admittedly, I have still seen the MONOGRAM decoder start out of sync a few times, but this is fixed with a pause or skip. In the past it would drift out of sync over time - that doesnt happen any more.

I'd be interested in feedback on any remaining problems you find with this TS reader patch above.

I was having the same problem so installed the patch but now I get an Entry Point Not Found error in PVRX2 when trying to play a TS file...

"The procedure entry point GetTickCount64 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

I tried re-registering the filters but got a similar error when it got to the new TS reader.

This is when trying to play a TS file on a client (the file's on the server). It works OK when using the old filter (but I have the 12:48 issue).

That one works but it still shows 12:48 for the length.

Did you also apply the NativeUtilities.dll?

I've applied both and went to watch a recording to find it's still 12:48 in length. Another recording that I tried was fine but this particular one won't budge from 12:48 length.

I seem to have absolutely perfect live tv now after doing some tweaking which included removing Haali which seemed to be causing some playback issues as well. Is there a version of this (or another program) that will allow mkv playback and not cause other problems?
