PCH Won't Play Recorded Programs

I can get PCH to run GBPVR and play songs from the Music Library but if I go into Recordings and try to play back a program that had been recorded, PCH crashes. I've attached a copy of the MVP-PVRX2.exe log file from when the crash occurred (at the end of the log).

I can play back the MPGs using the PCH software.

I assume that I am close but something is set wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are the logs under DEBUG. The crash occurred around 4:23pm.

Like a few others before you who have missed this in the survival guide, you have changed the default for OSD settings in MVP to false

getValue: /settings/MVPForceMinimalOSD : false

So you need to set it to true. Here is a bit more explanation

You are right. I did miss that in the Survivial Guide. The reason I didn't see it was because when I got to that part of the Survival Guide, i.e. "Limitations", I read the first few and they seemed to be listing things that don't yet work the way you hope they will eventually and, frankly, I didn't go through the rest of the list.

The last entry, "- Force Minimal OSD settings for the MVP must be checked in Config.exe", in my opinion would be better included in Section D (how to configure GBPVR). True, this may be a current limitation on the implementation but it is something that must be done to make it work. When you are able to get better information from the manufacturer and are able to better integrate PCH with GBPVBR then that configuration step could be dropped but, for now, it seems that it is necessary.

Moving this instruction may make it easier on others who are setting up their PCH and reduce the necessity for support to solve this already solved problem.

You are probably right, but because it's not a default I didn't want to bring too much attention to it either. I figured people using the MVP would and should read all the limitations. Now that the wiki is progressing I don't want to make too many changes to the guide to make everyone's life easier.
