Installing 1.2.13 on Server 2003

Hey Sub,
Unfortunately my system drive died in my video server a week or so back, so I am in the process of trying to rebuild the system from scratch. I was running 1.2.9 previously under Windows XP, but since I was having to start from scratch I decided to load up Server 2003 instead this time, since this machine is really acting as a server and I want to make it a backup domain controller, but I digress.

My problem is that I'm attempting to install 1.2.13 but it keeps failing with the following error: "Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\GBPVRWriter.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel.":confused:

There are several other files that are failing with the same message after this, and of course nothing works. Any idea what's wrong? The system is completely clean with nothing by Windows, SP1, and .NET 2.0 installed. I haven't tried going back to 1.2.9 yet, but somehow I don't think that's going to resolve my issue. Ever seen this issue before?

sub is away for a couple of weeks (but will check in from time to time). Did you install the VC++ runtimes?

Yeah, I think vcredist_x86 hasnt been installed.

Thanks guys, that was it. It's been so long since I had to install that, I completely forgot about it!

Sub, if you supposed to be on vacation, what on earth are you doing replying to posts??!!!! Go relax for a while!
