Faulting application pvrx2.exe

From time to time, on my pvr machine I have an error on the screen and in Even Viewer there are always 2 errors:

Any ideas what is wrong?

Sorry, I dont know. There isnt much to go on there.

Does it happen when you're doing something in particular?

Microsoft has a patch, but it seems that didn't fix it in all cases. Some users de-installed .NET 2.0 and re-installed to get this to go away.
