Hi I am having trouble getting to watch encryptd channels

I have a jaycar reader ( phoneix / smouse ) on com 1

I have MDAPI setup folder with lots of files and I clicked the Install filter batch file which insatlled files to GBPVR directory

I installed NDSCAM 0.0.0.7 to MDPlugins

Tune to an encrypted channel and no go there is not even any comunication to the card reader

What am I doing wrong??

Cheers

I've never used NDSCAM, so not really sure what steps you'd typically go through to diagnose what is happening.

On the ACamd plugin I use, it creates a tray icon, with relatively useful messages about what channel it's trying to tune to etc. Does NDSCAM have something similar?

At the very least you should see the mdapifilter tray icon, which will tell you whether its trying to load your multidec plugin.

If you dont have the mdapifilter, then it sounds like you dont have things setup correctly.

Do you have mdapifilter.ax registered, and ffdecsa.dll in your gbpvr directory, and the 'common interface' set to 'multidec' in your capture source settings? If you think you've done all these, try viewing a channel, then post your pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
