Program not recording - naming problem?

A weird one this - I've been having problems recording the program "Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps" (currently on UKTV at midnight for those in NZ).

Although I schedule the recording (with no conflicts) and an initial directory is created, the actual program does not record.

Could it be due to the fact that the name of the show in the recording guide is "Two Pints of Lager And ..." and the ellipses confuse GBPVR somehow?

I just did a clean reinstall to try and get the diskspace plugins to work (still don't), so don't have any useful logs at the moment, but will try recording it again tonight and see what happens.

Yep - set the recording up again last night, and once again it created a directory ("Two Pints Of Lager And&quot but didn't actually record anything. Are there any logs in particular I should send you sub?

(Although as it is such a beautiful sunny weekend in Wellington, it might be better to ask you again on Monday of course)

I recorded Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps off UKTV Gold 2 last night.
In in my TV Guide and Recordings its showing the full title of the programme, no '...' here. I'm using the Radio Times XMLTV

Yeah - I would say it's definitely how it's named in the Sky Guide over here. I've just sent sub the logs, but I would say that it runs into problems creating the file location, viz my recording log where it says

Requesting IRecordingSource to start recording: K:\Two Pints Of Lager And ...\Two Pints Of Lager And ..._20050118_00000030.mpg

- not exactly the most kosher of file locations!

I've added a special case to the next release, that will remove the ... (three dots) from file names.
