Hi all. I just installed a brand new PVR-150. I installed all of the software that wa son the Hauppauge disk. I then installed GB-PRV. I was configuring it, but I am having a problem. Under the Capture Sources tab, I cannot get an EPG configured. I don't know what is wrong. I followed the Setup in the Quick Start sec. on the GB-GVR page, but it is not working for me? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.

Whats happening? Do you get an error? Provide as much detail as possible.

If you're using zap2it the initial update can take long time, so you need to be patient.

Sorry, I am so new to this that I don't know exactly how to detail it.

Actually, I figured out how to get the channels added, but now I still have some problems.

I've had Zap2It updating for about 5 minutes now and it is still not done. Is this normal?

I go to LIVE TV, and I only get Channel 2, which is my first programmed channel. I don't know how to advance channels. The remote is not letting me. I saw in some threads that the next release will fix that, is this true?

That's it so far. Any help please?

My first zap2it update took probably 10 to 15 minutes, somewhere around there. If it seems like it's hung up, just go grab some coffee, or a bite to eat, maybe play a round of solitare. [Image: smile.gif]

There is no provisions for the Ch+ and CH- buttons on the 150's remote because Sub developed from the 350's remote (which doesn't have seperate channel buttons), use the up and down arrows up at the top, they work fine for channel changing (well, they do for me, when I can get the remote to work in the first place).

Ditto Mike

The first Zap takes about 10 or so minutes. Let us know if it does not work.

Hey Clobbersaurus,

to give you an example on update times, the first time i add an EPG for 7 channels on a nice anf fast broadband (1.5m down, 384k up) connected can take upwards of 5 minutes. If you are doing this with 200+ channels you can see this taking some time. If you are using a slower pipe, this will takes even longer. if you are using dialup, good luck.

To check if it is working, select one channel on zap2it and test.

Cheers,
Colin.

How many channels have you selected in your labs.zap2it.com account? Without knowing this and your type of connection to the interent its impossible for us to say how long it will take.

When you go into the config application and check your Capture Source, how many channels are listed here?

Cheers,
Colin.
