I upgraded to the latest version and when I search for a show using 'Search Guide', I can't double click to chose for recording. Also, when I select a show from the 'TV Guide', it does not give me the option to record all shows for the season. It only gives me the choice of 'Record Once'. I am running XP and using Schedule Direct for the EPG.

Like Plum, I can't figure out how to record from the "Search Guide" screen in the current version of PVRX2 (I had the same problem in the last version or two also).

I can search for shows fine, but there doesn't seem to be any way to select it for recording, or switch to that show in the TV guide? I've tried pressing the Enter key, the right cursor key, single clicking the show, and double-clicking the show. No response to any of those.

Is there a problem with the program, or is this simply operator error?

I cant really picture what your seeing.

What happens here... if I have 'B' selected and press enter, it'll list all the shows starting with B and move the focus to that list. If you press enter it'll list the times that show runs and move the focus to that list. You can press up/down to navigate through those times, then pressing enter will popup the record screen.

1. PVRX2 opens to the TV guide, so I press escape to return to the main menu.

2. I select "Search Guide" from the main menu

3. I use the cursor key to move down to "B" and press Return. The list of shows starting with "B" appears.

4. I use the cursor key to scroll down to a show title, i.e. "Barbecue America".

5. With "Barbecue America" highlighted, I press Enter. Nothing happens.

6. Nothing happens if I click on the "Barbecue America" title with the mouse either.

I've tried multiple letters of the alphabet and multiple shows and the results are always the same. I can find the show, but can't do anything with it once I find it.

Thanks,

Anthony

Its probably nothing to do with it, but if you start PVRX2 without going to the TV Guide automatically, does it behave any differently?

Nope, I changed the settings to start up at the main menu, but the search guide still functions the same. Can search, but can't record (or even tell what day/time it's on to find it in the guide myself).

Try it again, then post the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll see if there is any errors listed.

If I want to record Motoring 2009, and click on it, nothing happens. Attached is screenshot and log. Also, there is no options 'to record all season at same timeslot' anymore.

Thanks,
Patrick..

Here ya go.

1. PVRX2 opened to the guide
2. I pressed escape to return to the main menu
3. Scrolled down to "Search Guide"
4. Scrolled down to "B"
5. Pressed right cursor
6. Scrolled down to "Barbecue America"
7. Pressed "Enter" on the keyboard.
8. Nothing happened
9. I closed PVRX2

I took a peek and didn't see any errors, but maybe it'll give you some insight?

Thanks,

Anthony
