Turn Off Narration

Has anyone had, where you record a show to the hard disk, and there is like a Narration with the recording. I taped Flashpoint, and it says, "Couple sitting at table, woman satiring at man intensly." It's like a script for the actors. Is there a way to turn this off?

What multiplexer are you using? "TS Mux"? Did you get the narration when you were watching in GB-PVR or some other app?

I am using the ATI mpeg multiplexer. This hapened when I used TVersity, the GB-PVR saves it to an mpeg file, then is sent through Tversity through my Playstation to play on my TV. This does not happen on all the shows I tape, just on a few, like Flashpoint and Sud the Science Kid.

It probably means you did the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step, you mapped that channel to a secondary audio stream rather than the main audio.

I spent months with the same problem on BBC HD recordings that stuttered when playing back on GBPVR and had the narration track on Power DVD .

Some of the free programs for the PC have a setting to switch off the narration sound track.

I tried a new program yesterday called TSSniper which lets you remove unwanted content from HD and SD files and also remove unwanted sound tracks. Hopefully this will resolve my HD problems until Videoredo release their H264 beta.

In analysing the TS data for a channel having problems in my new code for the PCH (no audio stream selection). The first stream 0x03 is defined looks like it is defined "NAR" and you probably want the AC3 stream later.
