Config and PVRX2 wont start after mvpmc install

I installed the mvpmc install to try to get GBPVR onto my new Popcorn Hour and now I can't get either config or PVRX2 to start - I get a "... has encountered a problem and needs to close." error.

config log says something about Name cannot begin with the '8' character:

The PVRX2 log is empty.

I have temporarily replaced the config file with the 'do not edit' version, reinstalled .net 3.0, checked vcredist_x86.zip - hasn't helped.

Any other ideas?

If you remove the colons from the MAC address tags you should be able to continue testing.
