Ok, I originally thought this problem was HIP but I turned off hip and started Gbpvr and used the mouse to change channels, Sometimes it goes to the right channels and sometimes it doesn't, I.E. I clicked channel up to channel 51 and the USBUirt flashed as normal but the tv changed to 551 then I clicked down and it went to channel 51, sometimes it misses numbers and like goes to 2 instead of 23, it sometimes does this and sometimes it works fine, Do you think its my IR Definition files ? I use 2 amino tv boxes, a usbuirt and the split blaster cable for each cable box......

Thanks

I had a similar problem in the very beginning controlling my STB, I think I solved it by changing "repeat count" from 3 to 1 and possibly fiddling with the delay between each transmitted digit (from the USBUIRT).

I tried the repeat count from 3 to 1, but still nothing, is there a USBUirt utility program for tuning it? Its bad because I miss some season shows,

I want to watch Mythbusters not the PTL Club ! Big Grin

I don't know of any tuning program for USBUIRT, maybe someone else do. Try experimenting with the settings in config->capture sources->channel changer->USBUIRT. You can try with/without zero padding/repeatcount 1/2/3 and with/without enter.

Sub: Is it not possible to vary the delay between each transmitted digit to the STB/TV? Seems to remember it is, but cannot find it...

Believe me, I have tried all this, I just wish I knew why this might be even happening, could the actually amino remote codes maybe sending double codes, that still wouldn't explain why sometimes it sends no number at all........

I really don't know, what I have expirienced is that some IR-sensors is easily disturbed by bright light sources, like daylight and spotlights. I had to point my sensor slightly away from where I'm usually sitting with the remote because there is a bright spotlight in that direction.

It's just funny to me that it still did it without the remote and with hip turned off and only using the mouse, tomorrow I'm going to re do the ir files with the original amino remote and see if that helps, is there a section in the config file that might let me shut off any source of a remote and only allow hip to funtion gbpvr ?

Thanks

In the Config app, there is a section for selecting remote type, but I'm not sure that's what you'r looking for. Btw: have you tried to re-learn gbpvr/usbuirt the codes to transmit under "channel changer" in capture-source setup?
