MCE remote not working in PVRX2

Hi All,

I have an MCE remote and I am running HIP. I have HIP configured with the key maps found in the wiki. I have HIP learned the STB remote key 0-9, CH+, and CH-. When I test the IR from within HIP, HIP can change the STB channels. However, when in GBPVR, when I change the channel, the channel doesnt change but the guide at the bottom does. What gives?

- I am running hipsend with the following parameters: {channel} 500 3 1
- I have the capture source set to: composite, external tuner
- I have the recording service set to allow desktop interaction

Any idea?

I don't have any idea of how to make HIP work, but have you tried using the native MCE remote capability in GBPVR? If it is adequate for your needs, I don't think you need HIP. I use an MCE remote without HIP (or any other IR software) straight from GBPVR.

I don't know the exact source of your trouble. However pBS seems reasonably proud of his alternate hipsend utility, and I've seen others comment that it sorted all their problems, improved their marriages and implemented world peace:

problem has been solved. thanks for everyone's help. now onto another problem!
