I just installed a BFG GeForce 210 video card. I uninstalled the onboard video driver and installed the new video drivers. Video is working well and so is playback including audio through the HDMI cable. I went to watch live tv and it says no tuners are available. So I check config and my tuners are there. Just in case I downloaded the latest ATI 550 Pro drivers and installed them and still no success.

I have attached my logs and hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I am running XP with 1.4.7. I have two ATI 550's and a Hauppauge 2250 (it is not configured yet, but it is installed). Everything was working well before this change. I have checked to make sure all the cards were seated properly.

After playing around with it some, I realized I could record live tv and play it back. I just can not watch live tv. So this may point me to a codec issue?

Thanks.

Code:
2010-01-23 12:49:23.765    VERBOSE    FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: ATI AVStream Analog Xbar

Run filtercheck.exe and post the resulting filtercheck.log. It's possible that the filter names have changed or you may need to reinstall the drivers for the 550s

Thanks Whurlston, I attached Filtercheck.log as a .txt file.

I did reinstall a newer version of the 550 drivers, I could uninstall and reinstall the old version again if you think that is needed.

Your filtercheck.log looks good. Can you watch LiveTV without timeshift using live preview mode? It will need to be done on the main machine and not a client.

Ok, I turned on Live Preview Mode and when I went to watch Live TV, it just came back to the main menu without any error. When I have it unchecked, which is my normal setting, it says the following:

No tuners are available to watch the requested channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes.

There is nothing recording and my only option says: Don't watch TV.

Any other ideas?

I took your earlier comment and just finished reinstalling the 550 drivers and everything started working. I went back to the original version and not the newer one I downloaded. I am not sure why installing a video card would have interfered with the tuners, especially since the tuners are ATI and the video card is Nvidia.

Thanks for your help and discussion. Hopefully this will help someone if they find this post in the future.

I realize now why it wasn't working. It was attempting to use the 550 device #2 but according to your filtercheck.log you only had one 550 installed. Reinstallig the driver must have added the second device back.

Where in the logs did you see that it was trying to use ATI Device #2?

The "2" above marked in bold indicates your capture source was set for device #2.
