I just got my MediaMVP and managed to set up GB-PVR - fantastic! My problem is that I tried to play around with the plugins and unticked the boxes that I was not currently using; then when I tried to tick them again I couldn't. In desperation I uninstalled and reinstalled but they remained unticked.

Also I'm not clear on how to get the optional plugins to work. I tried installing the weather plugin but it asked for the exe file and I couldn't see one to point to.

V.grateful for any hints -

Easiest way to get back to the original state is: uninstall, delete c:\program files\devnz, reinstall

OK that worked - thanks -

Now what's an .exe file for the plugins? I extracted to the GVPVR root directory and the files went to the corect folders - but I couldn't find an executable anywhere.

huh? There is no .exe for plugins. Plugins are .dll files that are run by GBPVR.exe (and config.exe).

OK sorted - I was trying to add a custom task instead of the plugin - also when I extracted from winzip I gave GBPVR as the target and winzip then creates a GBPVR subdirectory which means the files were not going in the right places. Doh!

Thanks for waking me up!
