Hi Martin

Had a couple of issues, but got the pvh and npvr working together. Had to play with some of the files to get the shares going.

Anyway trying to play .avi files off either the local server or another machine gets "buffering" screen but no playback.

Anyone else reported this?

No one has reported this and this function shouldn't have been changed. Can you play back music or mpeg video?

Haven't tried music, but have tried recorded .ts files via recordings plugin. These .avi files where via the video library.

Logs attached.

See a bunch of graphics errors.

There's a playback attempt on Bachelor pad - off a windows home server, then a jersey shore episode - which was local to the machine.

Both via video library.

You will need to mount the shares first to play through the a100. You can use Martin's Sharehelper program. I can play avi's from other popcorns and NAS but I had to use sharehelper to mount the shares first. If you have done this already, ignore this post

psycik, you didn't upload all the logs, so I don't get the info I needed. Could you try again with the same files and also play a ts file, as a reference. dave.t is also correct you will need either Sharehelper or you have to change the permissions of the recording service to play from a share.

Did you confirm these files plays ok using a share or myihome? Not all avi files are supported.

What are the other logs you need?

In gbpvr this set up as I have it now works, so unsure what has changed. My recording service is set as a local login account, same as gbpvr.

Attached one of each log. The mvp.log.2 has playback of a .ts file.

Web.log. For the web server it looks like you have changed the port to 7647 from 8866 and on top of that you have a user id and password. There is a way to change the port via the command line but no way to change the user.

I don't see a new MVP log file either but I think if you had this kind of problem you would not get any media playback maybe you changed the web server settings?

Yeah I changed them to be similar to my old install - found the user and password option in the config settings... Are these used by the pch? SHould they be left as default?
