Elgato EyeTv Hybrid

I am at my wits end and now must beg for help. I have an Elgato EyeTv Hybrid, I use it for windows media center and it works amazing, it picks up in my NextPvr application, but never finds any channels, I believe the reason is, my channels come in as (2.1, 3.1, etc..) And NextPvr searches (1,2, etc..) This usb tuner works fine with WMC as stated before, anyone have any ideas, Im just trying to get this to work.

ATSC channels are stored as integers but that doesn't impact scanning. Scan with NextPVR and then compress and upload your logs.

It's going through the same steps that it does with every other device, but for some reason this device returns an error everytime NextPVR tells it to tune:

2013-09-09 14:41:13.633 [DEBUG][1] Unexpected error on ATSC put_TunerRequest: 0x80070057

This results in the device never locking onto a signal, so delivering any data to NextPVR.

I'm not really sure what to suggest for this, other than looking for different versions of the drivers and hoping they behave more like the drivers of other devices. Sorry!

Is there another usb card I can buy that would work better?

Is the atsc reference just a logging idiosyncrasy?

To be honest im really new to usb tuners, and pvr systems so I have no idea. I basically want to use this for an xbmc backend and use another frontend so I can have cable in a room with no coax connection, it would be easier than running a coax connection into that room
