Problem viewing TV with PVr150

Hi guys, any help much appreciated on this.

When I select "Live TV" on my PC I get "Error: No connection could be made as the target machine actively refused it". I get this with VMR9 and Overlay. GBPVR hangs if I select VMR7.

Before I installed GBPVR I uninstalled all the Hauppage software except for the driver (as viewed in Windows program remove/install). Was this correct?

I was using all the latest Hauppage software from their website and XP SP2.

GB-PVR uses the MPEG2 decoder which is installed with the Hauppauge WinTV software.

Thanks for the quick response. I uninstalled GBPVR, reinstalled WinTV and WinTV2000 and they both work fine. Reinstalled GB-PVR and same problem. Other thoughts?

You dont have a software firewall that could be getting in the way of communication between GBPVR.exe and GBPVRRecordingService.exe?
