I've been trying to setup Gb-pvr with my Twinhan DVB-t and I'm having trouble finding the channels in the capture sources config. I've set the recording source to BDA recording Plugin with the Twinhan DVB-t and all regions selected. I've selected the EPG as Bleb.org. But when I go to map the channels nothing is detected. It scans and although 2 channels (the hits & sky news) appear in the tv screen in the top right when scanning, it fails to find any channels at all. Has anyone got any ideas where I might be going wrong or something else I can try?

I'm using the twinhan BDA drivers by the way...

Hi SebP,
Have you installed a mux? Either Cyberlink or Intervideo?
One of these needs to be installed prior.
I use the Twinhan in the UK, and have greatest sucess with the Cyberlink mux.

I'm using Twinhan WHQL driver V1.2.1.2 with GB-PVR 0.91.8. Will try with version 1.2.1.6 and see if that makes a diference.

I've just tried it with the latest 1.2.1.7 driver from the twinhan site but it still doesnt work. Sad I'm sure its nothing to do with the BDA driver anyway because like I said earlier, a picture does come up in the preview window when scanning. It just doesnt seem to lock onto any.

Hi,

I've had the same problem with both a blackgold card and a nova-t 909. To solve it, use the 90.10 release: http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09010.msi
(you may have to use the dba directory and bda.ini from the latest release), use this to scan and setup the channels, then upgrade to the current release. I have not found any other way to find channels.

Give that a try

Chris

Sounds promising Smile

Cheers Chris, I'll give it a try.

Got the channels! But still cant watch them! :X I uninstalled 0.91.8 then installed 0.90.10. It detected all the channels in the scan and I thought I was in but when I clicked on live tv it says "Error:no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused".

So I upgraded again to 91.8 and the config crashed upon launch and all settings dissapeared. Tried running the main prog but it comes up saying vmr9 could not be found on this machine. Strange seeing as it worked fine before i installed 90.10.
