About 38 minutes into a TV show Playback I was skipping forward received a program exception error and closed the program. It was right around 1200. Attached are the logs, latest version doing some testing for memory usage. So far no high memory usage. Error is in NPVRlog1

I can't seen any obvious error in the logs.

Create a c:\temp directory, and next time it crashes, if there is a c:\temp\crash.mdmp, supply this file and I'll check for more info.

I just recreated the problem with a picture capture.jpg. Also happened in the first 5 minutes of replaying the file. Nothing in the C:\temp folder. Attached are the files are small.

What does the exception message say?

You forgot to attach this capture.jpg.

I'm not really sure. Not much to go on. Maybe the decoders don't like something in the stream.

Still no c:\temp\crash.mdmp? That'd probably help narrow it down.

No never get a mdmp file in Temp. Might be the cause of my dwm memory problem. I could send you the recorded file. It plays without error in Kodi and VLC. Plus I have not had any issues with recording which I assume the Decoder plays a part. And playing the file with the modern web works without error.

Since ffdshow is crashing did you try any other decode?

Yeah, that xml data wasn't there when I originally looked at the post. It appears to be identifying the crash as happening in the ffdshow decoder.

The Main concept decoder works fine, the problem is staying with the ffdshow. We need to get out of the decoder business, how does Kodi work without decoders?

Thanks will do memory test to see the the DWM memory problem goes away.
