I logged into the Web UI and the TV channel did not work. After rebooting the PC, NextPVR works fine. (for now)

This was the message that I got (from the Web UI Recordings)
[Failed: The operation has timed out.]
You should have started a new thread because this is off topic and not related.

Typically that error means what it says, the tuner was not able to lock onto an signal and it fails.  On linux it is quite long too, 30 seconds to and it is the linux driver returning the no signal message error to NextPVR so it is outside NextPVR's control.  Unfortunately there are only two generations of the device log so we can't see anything to confirm this.

You did mention in another post that you where having signal issues on some channels, so your best bet is to see if you can improve the signal to NextPVR by removing as many splits as possible.  TV's have much better tuners then most PC tuners and the SDR device is experimental, not commercial, so I wouldn't except similar performance.

There was also an issue scanning channels for the EPG (for alpha hd) that might have left then tuners in a bad state sub would need to check that.

Sorry about that Sad

So a new thread is needed for each general issue, but
if NextPVR crashes should I post here? (or is it for the specific crash from the OP?)

Thank your for your reply

I suggest reading a post in its entirety (not just the topic) and if you feel your problem sounds the same and could add to the discussion it would be appropriate, otherwise start a new thread.
