Having worked out the tuner issue I now have the next little problem of TV being unwatchable.

Tuner found, channels scanned and EPG populated but when I try to watch live TV I get a blank screen with no audio and a frame or more every x seconds (with audio) but then nothing again. Same when I record TV but I can watch movies fine from a network share.

Have tried different decoders, even installed the Shark007 codecs and using the LAV decoder included with that.

I have searched the forums but can't seem to find anything related.

Logs attached, hoping you can help with this one too.

Thank you
Cheers,

If you schedule a recording, does it play fine in nextpvr, or another player?

Choose lav for all audio and video and you should install the official lav no need for codec packs with NextPVR

Playback of recorded TV does the same thing. Haven't tried in a different player, does VLC support the file format?

Will make the change and try again. I grabbed the Shark codecs as I only had the Microsoft default decoder and it wasn't working.
Where do I get the official codec packs please?

Yes.

This will tell us if it is a capture or a playback issue.

Official LAV decoders can be install with:

https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters...taller.exe

(NextPVR is specifically using the 32 bit decoders)

Changed the decoders to the ones linked and recorded something which played fine in VLC. Still a problem live though.

Also checked and can play live TV through the web app. HTH

Can you post new logs, now you've got those decoders?
