Starting NTray.exe causes .Net Framework error

Hi All -

I'm new to V-5 but have it partially running on a Windows 10 machine but am having problems.  (I completely removed V-4, which ran just fine, before installing V-5.)

These problems may or may not be related to the following issue but I want to fix the following problem before fine tuning the V-5 installation.  

         Whenever Ntray.exe starts a .Net Framework error occurs.

Complete error details are posted at end of message.

When the error occurs I can hit continue and run NextPVR but have no idea if the error is what is causing the issues I'm having with NPVR or not.

Anyone else have this issue or have any idea how to I might fix the .Net Fromework problem?

That is the v4 Ntray so it is not completely removed.

You bailed me out once again!  V-4 was on my C drive and I uninstalled it prior to installing V-5 on my D drive. 

I have no idea how it happened but a copy of Ntray.exe somehow ended up in the NPVR directory on the D drive.  Both ...Tray.exe  files ended up in the Startup list - no wonder I got the error.

I uninstalled v-5, deleted the NPVR directory on D drive and reinstalled v-5 on that drive and everything seems to be working fine now.

Once I figure out again how to record on my network drive with v-5 I should be all set.

You can close this thread as far as I'm concerned.
