Auto playing embedded CC

Hello;

I think if I am right you are responsible for getting the imbedded CC enabled automatically in Kodi nightlies.

I just had to come here after updating and seeing it working. Thank you so much.

Is there still any hope that if there are two subtitle streams it will default to the second one?

Yes that was my PR in Kodi.

I can't see a good rule to force CC2. I was testing on CBC and not all shows have CC2 which is part of the problem. I can't even find anything in the spec that implies that CC2 is a better default choice when there are two.

I have found that every time there are two without fail it is the second one that works.

You haven't played a channel with Spanish on CC2 or CC3 then. In any case your Uncle would probably be used to selecting CC2 on the remote since I doubt TV or STB automatically switch. Switching CC1 tracks is done with the T key on Kodi.
