Remotes for uidroid

Voice works but not like I am a used to. I can't get my button to trigger anything so I have to click the Search and then speak and then I don't need to hit the button so it seems like the mic is always on. It does give me one more button in uidroid since the button itself does fire events and is not stuck.

Looks like the one I ordered for $13 is only 2.4G wireless, no BT. I thought for sure it was BT.

I ordered one on Ebay for $15 but it will take 2 weeks to ship (from China).

I forgot you guys have the 25% China duty. You might have to pay that when the ebay order arrives.

I went ahead and ordered the $24 one from Amazon.com, Probably will get it tomorrow. I may end up keeping them all, can't have too many remotes you know

As an update for the G20BTS it has worked fine in BT and IR modes for me but I had trouble in RF mode getting the OK going working. Today I did some searching and found this thread https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/21566 with an additional link to github where a firmware update was linked. I tried it and it works!

I can't recommend anyone install apk files they find on the internet so this won't be a solution for everyone. I have enough throw away Android devices I decided to take ad chance. I did deny the two things that the install asked for. The instructions are in Chinese too, but I can help if anyone wants to take the risk.

Got this remote on Amazon and use it with my NVShield. This remote is BT 5.0 and NVShield is only BT 4.x but it still works fine. I like it better than the G20s Pro BT.

It looks exactly like the Auvipal BT 5.0 remote.

That is the G7BTS and it is the best for my Tizen client. It doesn't have RF but use another flavour that looks the same the Auvipal that is really good too and I move its usb dongle around daily. Having a keyboard is handy at times. Note the Auvipal may not have BT.
