Hi all, I'm trying to set my GB PVR up and have the box put together and software installed, but I'm not able to get any signal into the card... I have the Hauppauge PVR-150 card and Comcast basic cable service.

What I normally have set up to watch TV is the cable from the wall going directly into my sony VCR, then composite cables into the TV and it works fine.

For the GB PVR setup, I connected the wall cable to the PVR-150, then the S-Video out (Geforce FX5200) to the TV. In the config tool (Create Capture Source page), I tried setting internal tuner (both antenna and cable) and I just get a black screen for a couple seconds (Live TV), then it goes back to the menu.

I then tried connecting wall cable to VCR, then composite out of the VCR into composite in of the PV150. Then in config, I set composite/external tuner, but the same thing happened.

My PVR150 didn't come with the winTV software so I'm not able to test if the card itself is working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this working? Thanks!

Download the Hauppauge software from their website and give that a try.

Does the GB-PVR Tuning Assistant app work?

Thanks for the response. With the wall cable plugged directly into the PVR card, using the Tuning Assistant, I can see TV and it runs along trying to find all the channels... so it looks like the card is working. My card is actually the PVR 150 MCE... does the WinTV 150 software work for the MCE edition? Do you have any other ideas on getting GB PVR to show the video? Thanks.
