Sub, i just installed .238 over .227 and ran into a problem. I had to install MDAC 2.8 before installing without error 1904.
(I'm running win2k sp4).

But GBPVR does not run. Please see attached log.

chewy, can you zip and email your config.xml and gbpvr.mdb and email them to me at support@devnz.com?

This is probably an unrelated glitch, but I had issues running the new version as well. After some trouble shooting, I realized the the video archive plugin was causing some sort of error that did not allow the program to start- it simply kept trying to start. Once I got rid of the plugin, then everything was ok.

yes, there are a few plugins that may cause problems, especially if you are not using the standard skin.

My advice for the new version would be to test it without plugins first, then add your plugins back one at a time to make sure they work

Same here (still cant register on the site (SFX Group)). MDAC2.6, .NET 1.1 (NOT SP1).

Error on registrerying a DLL (i have a screen shot of it). While on the subject what is BLACK.MPG used for?

Had a number of errors with 0.23 (one which put me to role back to 0.22) was the OSD was flahing up and down all the time and the video was shaky so now back at 0.22 with no problems (Generic PVR230 drviers installed).

See you see soon (how do i add piccys for bugs on this forum?)

First, thanks Sub for GBPVR! I really enjoy using it. I hate to have to post a problem, but the new version isn't working for me. Not sure if my issue goes here or not, but it seemed similar. Here's the full story: I installed .238 over .227 and got a error that says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" as well as error 1904 about ado15.dll. GBPVR would not launch. I saw another post about installing MDAC 2.8, so I did that, and it still won't launch. I then uninstalled .238 and re-installed .227, which works fine. Then, I saw this thread that mentions disabling the Video Archiver plugin, so I re-installed .238 to try that. I unchecked all plugins, leaving only the default stuff, but GBPVR still will not launch. Here's what it is doing: it appears to try to start, because the screen on the attached TV goes from the test pattern to black for a few seconds, then back to the test pattern. In Task Manager, I see gbpvr.exe appear for a few seconds, then disappear, then re-appear for a few more seconds, etc.

I am emailing my config.xml and gbpvr.mdb files to sub next.
