How do I get gbpvr to launch with my hauppaugge remote? I can not find a button that will allow it to launch. If I launch it with my mouse I can do everything else with the remote. Any help would be appreciated.

If you use Girder, you can program a button to launch an application. I have programmed button "Go" to launch GB-PVR.

If you're using Hauppauge IR.exe, you can set it up in the Irremote.ini file.
Add something like the following to the [Default] section:

Code:
GRNPOWER={run(C:\Program\devnz\gbpvr.exe)}

I added this line in under [default] in irremote.ini but still have a problem. It always says application not found when I push the green button. I don't see what is wrong with the path???

Any ideas for someone who is not a programmer?

could it be maybe try 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr.exe' as the path instead of just Program, hope that helps Smile

You can't use "\Program Files\..." - replace "\Program Files\" with "\Progra~1\" (the short path name) and you should be good to go.

Assuming you have GBPVR installed in the default directory, you would need the following line in the [Default] section:

GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe)}

Be sure to RESTART IR after you make any changes to irremote.ini.
