I've got GB-PVR up and running and love it!  I really like the way the service will wake the PC from standby and start recording automatically.

Now, is there any way to wake the PC from standby with the Hauppauge remote?  This would be a complete solution - able to wake a sleeping PC, select some shows to record, and then set back to standby until the service needs to wake again for recording. I'm running Win2K.

Thx.

there is one way.
you need a special remote receiver which is connected with the power button.
You can learn the button on your remote control you want to start the pc, so it presses for you the power button.

Hi,

I use a IR keyboard to wake up the PC. I set up CTRL-F1 as wakeup key in the Bios. Works great. But I agree that a wake up on a button of the remote control would be better.

Thanks for the responses.  Can you provide a link where I can buy/get more information on one of these remote receivers?

Thx.
